Vivo Y600 Pro Launch Date and Availability Outside China

The Vivo Y600 Pro launch in China is officially scheduled for April 27, as confirmed by Huang Tao, Vice President of Vivo China, via Weibo. The device is expected to go on sale starting April 30 in the country. Vivo has also teased multiple colour options, including Floating Gold, Bright Moon Black, Vast Blue, and Starry Purple.

As of now, Vivo has not announced availability outside China. However, given the brand's history with the Y-series, the device could expand to other markets, including India, in the months following its initial release.

Vivo Y600 Pro Specifications

The Vivo Y600 Pro is headlined by a 10,200mAh battery, the largest ever on a Vivo smartphone, paired with 90W wired fast charging, which the company claims can fully charge the device in under 80 minutes. Vivo also highlights extended endurance figures, including up to 16.7 days of standby time and over 24 hours of light usage.

The battery uses second-generation semi-solid technology designed to perform reliably even at temperatures up to 60°C, alongside AI-based power optimisation at the chip level and a claimed lifespan of up to six years. On the front, the device is expected to feature a 6.83-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution (1,260 x 2,800 pixels) and eye-care enhancements. It will run on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.

Under the hood, the smartphone is likely powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. For photography, it is expected to include a 50MP rear camera and a 32MP front camera.

Durability is another key highlight, with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, along with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Overall, the Vivo Y600 Pro appears designed for users prioritising battery endurance, ruggedness, and dependable day-to-day performance.
