Nokia 8.1 Review

,Nokia 8.1 is launched in India. The device flaunts a 6.18-inch FHD+ (1080 x 2244 pixels) PureDisplay with support for HDR10. Its screen comes with a tall aspect ratio of 18.7:9 and has 81.5% screen-to-body ratio with a peak brightness of 500 nits. The phone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 710 processor paired with Adreno 616 GPU, 4GB RAM, and 64GB default memory capacity. The storage is expandable up to 400GB. For imaging, the mobile sports dual rear camera of a 12MP camera with a pixel size of 1.4 microns, and a 13MP depth-sensing camera, supported by dual-tone LED flash. Up front, Nokia 8.1 has a 20MP front camera with a pixel size of 0.9 microns, and 4-in-1 pixel technology for improved low-light photography. These cameras also support the ‘Bothie’ feature, that allows simultaneous photo/video shooting from both cameras.Connectivity options on board the 8.1 include dual-SIM 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, and a type-C USB port. The smartphone packs a 3500mAh battery which comes with 18W fast charging support and runs Android 9(Pie) out of the box. Sensors include a rear mounted Fingerprint, an Accelerometer, a Gyroscope, a Proximity, and a Compass. The handset is available in Red, Silver and Blue color options. The Nokia 8.1 price starts from Rs. 26,999 for 4GB and 64GB variant in an Indian market.
