Realme Narzo 10: Design
The Realme Narzo 10's design is inspired by the Realme 5 series of smartphone and the back of the device resembles the limited onion and garlic edition of the Realme X -- the first and the only pop-up selfie camera smartphone from Realme. The Realme Narzo 10 has a 6.5-inch display with a water-drop style at the top of the screen. This is a 720p IPS LCD panel, which we don't expect from a device that costs almost Rs. 12,000. A low-resolution display will compromise movie watching and photo-taking experience on the Realme Narzo 10.
Realme Narzo 10: Hardware Performance
The Realme Narzo 10 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, and it is one of the first smartphones to be based on this chipset. It is an octa-core processor with 1.8GHz clock speed with the ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU for improved gaming performance. Though the Realme Narzo 10 is not the best gaming device at the asking price, it can easily handle modern titles like PUBG and COD: Mobile without any issue as the processor has to push fewer pixels when compared to other devices with an FHD+ or 1080p panel.
Realme Narzo 10: Camera Performance
The Realme Narzo 10 has a quad-camera setup at the back with a 48MP primary shooter that takes native 12MP images using pixel-binning technology. Similarly, the device does have an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The device has a high-resolution 16MP selfie camera at the front with support for 1080p video recording and AI selfie mode for enhanced image quality. The main camera clicks good pictures in good lighting conditions and photos clicked in low-light lacks clarity and looks grainy.
Realme Narzo 10: Price To Specs Ratio
The Realme Narzo 10 is a bit overpriced, considering the device retails for Rs. 11,999. For a smartphone that costs almost Rs. 12,000 should have a display with at least 1080p resolution. Other than the low-resolution screen, the device seems to offer a good set of features. This phone offers Android 10 OS with custom RealmeUI and it is highly optimized to offer good user experience. However, the device is slightly overpriced for sure.
Realme Narzo 10: Important Features/Highlights
One of the USPs of the Realme Narzo 10 is its 5,000 mAh battery and the device does support 18W fast charging via the USB Type-C port and the fast charger is also included in the box. The base model offers 128GB internal storage, making it one of the cheapest devices with 128GB internal storage. The phone also has a 48MP camera sensor and the 16MP selfie camera will click some good pictures in daylight condition. Lastly, it has a dedicated microSD card slot along with dual nano-SIM card slots for those who want more storage.
Realme Narzo 10: Verdict
The Realme Narzo 10 seems to offer a great set of features except for the low-resolution display. If you are someone who likes to watch 1080p videos on platforms like YouTube, Prime Video, and Netflix, then the Realme Narzo 10 might not impress you. Overall, a good package with just one major con.

Rating a smartphone is a tedious process and a lot of parameters have to be considered before judging the overall performance of the device such as display, camera, processor, RAM, storage, battery, and the pricing.
So, here are how these specs will affect the real-life usage of a device and why how we meticulously consider each of these points to rate a smartphone.
Cameras have evolved a lot over the last few years and multi-camera setup is a new norm. We consider various parameters like MP count, aperture size, pixel size, image stabilization to rate a camera system of a smartphone out of 5. Any device that scores more than 3.5 can take good photos and videos and if a phone scores over 4, then it will be one of the best camera smartphones in the market.
Though battery seems like an underrated feature and we look at the battery capacity, fast charging supporting technology, and even the wireless charging capability is also taken into consideration to rate smartphone's battery capability.
The display is the face of a smartphone. And there are a lot of parameters like the panel technology (IPS LCD, OLED, TFT) and other parameters also taken into consideration like the resolution, pixel density, and refresh rate.
A smartphone could have great specs, but if it is not priced well then you might not get the best value-for-money. So, we compare a smartphone with the contemporaries to rate the value-for-money of a device out of 5.
This aspect is decided on various sub specifics, such as availability of microSD card slot, the amount of RAM the device offers, processor capability, and the network support. This parameter has more weightage when compared to other departments.
