The telecom operators are all set to transform the telecom sector post-December 31. Read to know in details..
The calendar year has been a roller coaster for the telecom industry. Starting from the new entrant, Reliance Jio, to the unlimited offers, and the exciting tariff plans that the telcos including Reliance Jio, Airtel, Vodafone, Idea, RComm, and rest rolled out.
Soon after Reliance Jio entered the telecom market, the sector has seen a drastic change, as the telcos started to compete among themselves to be the best network of the country.

Starting from offering unlimited calls, to exciting data or talk time plans, the telecom operators have left no stone unturned to drive ahead in the competition.
These telecom operators are planning to offer much more attractive tariff plans, mainly focusing on the aim to provide more at a lower cost. Here are a few things that the telecom sectors is going to experience after December 31.
Reliance Jio Welcome Offer Ends
As stated earlier by the company, Reliance Jio unlimited voice calls, and offers ends with the year on December 31. Soon after which the telecom company will start charging for its services and will no longer be offering free services.
Free Lifetime Unlimited Calls
To combat Reliance Jio and other telecom operators, BSNL has announced to offer free lifetime unlimited calls to its users starting early 2017, with the aim to attract more customers and retain the existing ones. Along with BSNL, airtel, Idea, and other telcos have already introduced a few unlimited calls offers and will add more to that.
Reliance Jio Might Unveil Welcome Offer 2? Not Sure
If unable to improve the network quality, Reliance Jio might extend the existing Welcome offer to Welcome Offer 2. The company may announce the same in the meeting to be held on December 28, no official announcements by the company yet.

Reliance Jio LYF Easy Phones
The new entrant to the telecom operator will supposedly launch the cheapest 4G feature phone starting Rs. 1,000, called LYF Easy, especially to attract the suburban crowd and help India go digital, providing a 4G connection at every corner of the country.
Telcos Might Wrap the Country With 4G Connection
Telecom operators, including Airtel, Vodafone, Idea, BSNL, RComm and other have already started to roll out 4G services in several circles of the country and is surely expected to cover the whole of India.
Cheap Tariff Plans Provide More Services
The telcos are expected to roll out several combo packs, which may provide voice calls, data packs and more facility in one recharge. Although Airtel and other telecoms have already rolled out a few such offers, there are more to come.
Along with these, the telecom operators will come up with several other exciting services and offers as well.
