Wow! This has been a great week for Indian tablet market as the homegrown manufacturers have filled the showground with one better than another offerings, specially in the category of Google's latest Android Jelly Bean OS. Karbonn, WickedLeak and many others have launched their biggest bets holding budget price tags to keep a leg up in the sizzling arena.
The latest one to trigger the market is a new Lava tablet. If you remember, Gizbot did an exclusive story last month revealing that the company will soon launch an Android Jelly Bean tablet with a competitive pricing. Well, this was the only tab we were talking about.
Last evening, the NCR based tech firm finally opened the box and unwrapped the new Etab Xtron announcing it for the Indian market at a price of Rs 6,770.

Though the press release claims that the price of the tablet is Rs 6,770, Etab Xtron has made its way to online retailer Flipkart at a price of Rs 6,499.
Lava is not the only Indian tech manufacturer who has come up with a budget Jelly Bean tablet as there are several others including iBall, Karbonn, Byond and more who have made its presence in this segment of the market. However, with the launch of new Lava offering with these killer specs including a dual core processor, its seems to be a worry time for other manufacturers.
