Samsung To Fix Galaxy S5’s Lollipop Issues With Micro Updates
Back in 2014, Samsung started pushing the Android 5.0 Lollipop firmware update to the Galaxy S5 flagship smartphone. Unfortunately, users began reporting various bugs in the final Android 5.0 Lollipop build for the Galaxy S5.
Now Samsung has promised to fix those issues Galaxy S5 owners are experiencing at the moment after upgrading their devices to the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop software. The company says it will be rolling out a series of "micro-updates," but it's not yet clear when they'll be available for all.

The tech giant said, "Our engineers are currently sending out micro updates to help resolve any issues caused by the update. Thanks for your patience." The company was replying to a Galaxy S5 user who wanted to know when Samsung is releasing Android 5.0.1 update for the 2014 flagship.
The Twitter user's query read, "When is the 5.0.1 update coming out for Galaxy S5, I've had nothing but problems since I bought the phone in January!!!"
In other news, Samsung Gulf has clarified that the Galaxy Note II will not get receive Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA.
