Realme Narzo 10A: Design

Narzo -- the latest sub smartphone lineup from Realme is finally live in India. The company has launched two devices, to begin with, and the Realme Narzo 10A is the most affordable of the top. The device does share a lot of similarities to the Realme 5i. However, it does have a few tricks of its own. The Realme Narzo 10A is fitted with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution, protected by a 2.5D curved tempered glass. There is a water-drop style notch at the top and the device does look modern and is in line with the competition when it comes to looks and aesthetics.

Realme Narzo 10A: Hardware Performance

The Realme Narzo 10A is powered by the MediaTek Helio G70 SoC, which is a mid-range processor that is more than enough to handle a device with a 720p display. Due to the lower resolution screen, the phone can handle games with PUBG at medium graphics settings without any issue. The processor is clubbed with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage with a dedicated microSD card slot for additional storage expansion. The smartphone also has a dual nano-SIM card slot with support for 4G LTE and VoLTE on both slots.

The Realme Narzo 10A has a triple camera setup at the back with a 12MP primary sensor, 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The device does miss out on a dedicated ultra-wide angle lens and the main camera can shoot native 1080p videos. At the front, there is a 5MP selfie camera that can record 720p videos and also supports software-based bokeh mode that offers selfies with background blur. The selfie camera can also be used for face unlock. However, this feature does not work in low-light conditions.

Realme Narzo 10A: Price To Specs Ratio

The Realme Narzo 10A retails for Rs. 8,499, making it an excellent upper entry-level smartphone. In terms of looks, the device gives a premium vibe. However, the body of the device is constructed using plastic and might get scratched easily. As per the raw-performance of the device, the Realme Narzo 10A offers a great value-for-money and is definitely one of the best smartphones under Rs. 9,000. Similarly, features like a 720p display make it a bit hard to recommend for those who want a phone to watch movies and videos.

Realme Narzo 10A: Important Features/Highlights

The Realme Narzo 10A comes with a massive 5,000 mAh battery and can easily last for more than a day on a single charge. As it does not have fast charging support, it might take a few hours to charge completely and it still uses a micro USB port, which is yet another drawback of this device. As per the software, it ships with Android 10 OS with custom RealmeUI skin on top and it is one of the best implementations of custom Android skin. Lastly, the smartphone has a 3.5mm headphone jack, allowing users to connect wired headphones to the device without any hassle.

Realme Narzo 10A: Verdict

The Realme Narzo 10A is a good upper entry-level smartphone that looks premium and can perform normal day-to-day tasks without any issue. However, for just a few hundred rupees more,  one can get a better device with FHD+ resolution screen and a more powerful processor. This is a phone for those, who have a strict budget of Rs. 8,499.
