vivo V70 Surfaces With Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, 12GB RAM; Check India Launch Timeline
vivo’s upcoming V-series phone is starting to show up more frequently in certification databases. The vivo V70 5G has now been spotted on the FCC, following earlier appearances on BIS, Geekbench, and IMEI listings.
This latest sighting confirms a few key details and suggests the phone’s global launch is getting closer.

FCC Listing Confirms Software and Connectivity
The FCC documents list the model number V2538, which earlier IMEI entries have already linked to the vivo V70. The listing confirms that the phone was tested running Android 16, likely with OriginOS 6 layered on top.
In terms of connectivity, the V70 supports 5G, LTE, GSM, and WCDMA networks. The filing also confirms support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, NFC, and GNSS. A wide range of 5G bands are listed, pointing to broader global compatibility.
RAM Variants and Chipset Details
The FCC certification reveals a 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant of the vivo V70 5G. This lines up with a recent Geekbench listing that also hinted at an 8GB RAM option.
That same benchmark entry suggests the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, placing it firmly in the upper mid-range category.
Expected Hardware and Cameras
The vivo V70 is widely tipped to be a rebranded version of the recently launched vivo S50 in China. If that turns out to be accurate, the phone could feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP selfie camera.
A 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging is also expected, though vivo hasn’t confirmed these details yet for the global model.
India Launch Timeline
Based on current certification activity, the vivo V70 5G is tipped to launch in India around February 2026. As of now, vivo hasn’t shared an official launch date.
