Vivo's First Action Camera Reportedly Launching Alongside X300 Ultra in 2026
Vivo is expected to launch the X300 Ultra in the Chinese market next year. However, the smartphone may not arrive alone. According to a recent leak, the company is also working on an action camera. Here's what to expect from the company's first action camera.
Vivo's First Action Camera Launch Tipped
The latest information comes to light via tipster Digital Chat Station, who claims that the company is working on an action camera, expected to launch in the first half of 2026. The tipster also suggests that it could debut alongside the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

While no other details have been revealed so far, reports hint that the launch may coincide with the Vivo X300 Ultra, which is tentatively scheduled to debut in March 2026. As of now, there are no details regarding the features of the action camera.
However, Vivo's move into the action camera segment wouldn't be surprising. The brand has previously showcased its expertise with the world's first miniaturised gimbal camera setup on the Vivo X50 Pro (Review) for super steady video output. We expect the upcoming action camera from Vivo to mark the company's next big step in the industry.
Vivo X300 Ultra Incoming?
As noted, the Vivo is also gearing up to launch the X300 Ultra. While there is no official word regarding this, the phone is expected to be the world's first to offer 200MP cameras.
Leaks and rumours suggested the X300 Ultra may opt for two 200MP sensors – one for the main wide-angle camera and another for the periscope telephoto lens – alongside a 50MP ultrawide and a 50MP autofocus selfie camera.
The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, paired with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. It's also tipped to sport a 6.8-inch 2K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
