Upcoming Smartphone Launches December 2024: iQOO 13, Redmi Note 14, Vivo X200, OnePlus Ace 5, Honor 300, More

As we head into the final month of 2024, the action in the smartphone industry doesn't appear to be slowing down. In fact, it is about to ramp up in the coming months. India is set to see the arrival of more flagships following the recent launch of the OPPO Find X8 series and Realme GT 7 Pro in the country.

After the launch of the Redmi K80 Pro, iQOO Neo 10 Pro, and Vivo S20 Pro, the affordable flagship smartphone trend is about to continue in December 2024 with OnePlus and Honor. While major players like Xiaomi and Vivo are also expected to make some major moves in the Indian market next month.

Upcoming Smartphones Launching December 2024 (India)

The iQOO 13 is arriving early next week on December 3. It will debut as the second smartphone with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip in India, following the Realme GT 7 Pro. Moreover, the iQOO 13 could also debut as the most affordable Snapdragon 8 Elite phone in the country. Apart from the chip, the phone also features a 2K LTPO OLED display, three 50MP rear cameras, a massive 6,000 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support, Android 15, and an IP68+IP69 rating.

Xiaomi's Redmi Note 14 series is also launching in India this month, more precisely on December 9. The Redmi Note 14 line-up will include the Redmi Note 14 5G, Note 14 Pro, and Note 14 Pro+. The Redmi Note 14 series pricing in India is expected to fall between Rs 20,000 to Rs 35,000. The three phones have already been unveiled in China, giving us a detailed look at their specifications.

While no official launch date has been announced, the Vivo X200 series is also expected to make its debut in India in December. The line-up will include the Vivo X200 and Vivo X200 Pro, although the Pro Mini model isn't launching in India. The Vivo X200 series price in India will likely start from under Rs 70,000.

While unconfirmed, the Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 and V Flip 2 could also arrive in India in December 2024. To recall, the Phantom V Fold 2 and V Flip 2 were already unveiled in Africa earlier this year. The two foldables will be more affordable compared to other premium foldables. To recall, the Tecno Phantom V Fold starts from under Rs 70,000, while the Phantom V Flip is available for under Rs 30,000.

Upcoming Smartphones Launching December 2024

The OnePlus Ace 5 series is launching in China next month. The line-up will include the OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro, although an official launch date is yet to be confirmed. Moreover, the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, while the standard Ace 5 will likely use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. Moreover, the OnePlus Ace 5 is also expected to make its global debut as the OnePlus 13R in January 2025 alongside the OnePlus 13.

The Honor 300 series is launching in China on December 2. The line-up is expected to include the Honor 300, Honor 300 Pro, and Honor 300 Ultra. As of now, details about the Honor 300 series are still scarce, although the Pro and Ultra models will feature triple-camera setups, with the latter featuring a periscope lens. The Honor 300 series will also use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and will run Android 15-based MagicOS 9.

The Realme Neo 7 is also making its debut in China next month, on December 11. The Realme Neo 7 is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset and could pack a massive 7,000 mAh battery. The Realme Neo 7 could debut as the Realme GT 7T in India in 2025.
