As we head into the final month of 2023, the number of smartphone launches are slowing down. With the launch of the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset on the back end of October, the race to introduce new devices in the market is starting to heat up.

The iQOO 12 series, Vivo X100 series, and Redmi K70 series may have stolen the show in November 2023 but several OEMs are plotting major moves this month. So without any further delays, here are the upcoming smartphones in December 2023.

Upcoming Smartphones December 2023 (China Edition)

OnePlus 12 5G | The OnePlus 12 5G is undoubtedly one of the most-anticipated launches of December 2023. The OnePlus 12 5G launch date in China is set for December 5 at 12 noon IST. According to reports, the OnePlus 12 5G global launch event will take place on January 24, 2023.

OnePlus has already confirmed key aspects of its upcoming flagship, including the phone's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, top-tier OLED display, 50 MP triple-camera setup, and super-fast wired and wireless charging. Check out all the key details about the OnePlus 12 5G here.

Realme GT 5 Pro | The Realme GT 5 Pro launch date in China is set for December 7 at 11:30 am IST. The Realme GT 5 Pro will debut as the first phone by the brand to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

Apart from the chip, the Realme GT 5 Pro also opts for a 50 MP triple-camera setup, both wired and wireless fast charging, and a 144Hz LTPO OLED screen with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits.

iQOO Neo 9 Series | While no official launch date has been provided, the Vivo sub-brand has confirmed that the iQOO Neo 9 series will be arriving in China in December. The line-up will include the iQOO Neo 9 and iQOO Neo 9 Pro. iQOO recently revealed the design of the upcoming Neo 9 series.

Vivo S18 Series | Vivo is releasing its premium mid-range smartphones this month. The Vivo S18 series succeeds last year's Vivo S17 series, which made its global debut as the V29 series. While Vivo hasn't provided a launch date, the Chinese smartphone maker will confirm the official date on December 4.

The line-up includes the Vivo S18 and Vivo S18 Pro. The Vivo S18 line-up will feature the flagship VCS cameras from the X series as well as an OIS Portrait main camera. The Vivo S18 series will also feature curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Meizu 21 | The Meizu 21 was unveiled on the final day of November but went largely under the radar. The Meizu 21 features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, a 200 MP triple-camera setup on the back with an RGB flash ring, a sizeable 4,800 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support, and a 120Hz AMOLED display. The Meizu 21 price starts from CNY 3,399 (roughly Rs 40,000) in China.

Upcoming Smartphones December 2023 (India Edition)

iQOO 12 5G | The iQOO 12 5G is making its debut in India on December 12 as the first smartphone to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC in the country. To recall, the iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro were released in China last month, although only the vanilla model is hitting the Indian market.

Apart from the chip, the iQOO 12 5G will feature a formidable triple-camera setup, a 144Hz OLED display, and a sizeable battery with super-fast charging support. According to rumors, the iQOO 12 5G price in India will start from Rs 56,999.

Redmi 12C India | The first of the budget smartphones on our list is the Redmi 12C, which is set to make its debut in India on December 6. We expect the Redmi 12C price in India to start from under Rs 15,000.

The Redmi 13C is touted to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC, large battery, 90Hz display, a 50 MP dual-camera setup on the back, and a 5,000 mAh battery with fast charging support.

Realme C67 5G | Realme is yet to announce an official launch date for the C67 5G in India. The Realme C67 5G is another budget smartphone dropping in India this month. The Realme C67 5G is expected to feature a Unisoc T612 SoC, a 90Hz display, a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support, and a 50 MP dual rear camera setup.
