Upcoming Smartphones Launches August 2024: Pixel 9 Series, Moto Edge 50, Vivo V40 Series, iQOO Z9s Series

With the launch of the Galaxy foldable smartphones and other popular smartphones like the OPPO Reno12 series, Xiaomi Mix Flip, Honor 200 series, and more, July was an exciting month for smartphones. More recently we saw the launch of the Realme 13 Pro series and Nothing Phone 2a Plus in India as well. And things promise to get even better in August.

We already know that the Vivo V40 series and Google Pixel 9 series are making their global debuts next month. Additionally, we are also set to see phones Samsung, Motorola, and OPPO all make their way to India in August. So without any further delays, let's look at the upcoming phone launches in August 2024.

Upcoming Smartphones August 2024

Easily the most popular launch for August 2024 is the Pixel 9 series, which is said to include four new smartphones. The new line-up will include the Google Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. The Google Pixel 9 series will make its global debut on August 13.

Vivo's premium mid-range smartphones, the Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro are all set to make their debut in India on August 7. Both phones in the upcoming Vivo V40 line-up will feature ZEISS optics. Following its launch, the Vivo V40 series will go on sale in India through Flipkart, with the Vivo V40 expected to start from under Rs 40,000 and the Vivo V40 Pro price to fall under the 50K-mark.

Motorola is all set to launch the fourth smartphone in its Edge series on August 1. The Motorola Edge 50 will debut in India sub-30K smartphone segment. Moreover, its specifications have already been detailed through Flipkart. Here's an in-depth look at the device.

Upcoming Mobile Phones August 2024

Poco is also set to unveil a new budget smartphone in August 2024. The Poco M6 Plus 5G is making its Indian debut at 04:00 pm (IST) today. As of now, there is no official release date for the iQOO Z9s series in India just yet, but we can confirm the devices will be launching in the country this month. Upcoming Foldable Smartphones August 2024

Huawei has officially confirmed the global release of the Nova Flip smartphone. The Huawei Nova Flip will feature a square cover display positioned next to a camera island on the rear and is set to make its international debut on August 6. Check out all the details here.

The Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and Mix Flip 5G made their debut in China last month. According to reports, Xiaomi's latest foldable smartphones could make their debut sometime in mid-August. As of now, there is no information about the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and Mix Flip 5G's launch in India.
