Moto Z2 Force seems to be the new victim of Jelly effect after OnePlus 5
Video shows a Moto Z2 Force displaying the same Jelly like effect that was reported earlier with some OnePlus 5 units
The infamous 'Jelly like' effect that brought OnePlus 5 into limelight last month has now clouded Motorola's Moto Z2 Force. A video has surfaced online showing a Moto Z2 Force handset displaying the same jelly like scrolling effect that affected some OnePlus 5 devices. It is said that the issue is caused by the device's screen being mounted upside down.

The video has been uploaded by Daniel Marchena, a user on xda-developers. Daniel elaborates that the jelly like effect is especially noticeable if you look at the text on the screen while scrolling. He further mentions that the panel on the Moto Z2 Force actually refreshes in the opposite direction than the other smartphones, which in this case was the Galaxy S8+.Daniel says this is an indication that the display is mounted in an inverted orientation.

Notably, the same fault was also quoted as the possible reason affecting the OnePlus units.
While we at GIZBOT haven't experienced the same with OnePlus 5 and Moto Z2 Force handsets, we do have other instance to highlight here. One of a Moto G4 Plus unit we are using also seems to show some sort of issues with the display panel. It's not any jelly like effect but the video icons from the last used YouTube app overlaps the content in the followed app. The company has to say that it's a software issue and is not caused by any hardware fault.
If you are also facing similar issues with the display panels on smartphones you are using, please comment in the end of this post. We will try to reach the brand to get a proper explanation on the possible issue.
Stay tuned on GIZBOT for more on Jelly like effect on smartphones.
