Rumoured Huawei P8 “Lite” To Launch on April 15?
Huawei has dominated the smartphone market scene in recent year and 2015 looks set to follow suit with the arrival of the P8. Unlike the Samsung Galaxy S6 - a smartphone that's set for March 2015 debut - Huawei Ascend P8 will launch on April 15 in London.
The P8 is expected to be a premium handset, and will likely to run on Android 5.0 Lollipop. Aside from the possibility of a 5.2-inch FHD screen, the recent rumours suggest that we could possibly see two versions of the Ascend P8.

According to a tweet sent out by tech journalist Antonio Monaco, Huawei P8 is expected to have a "Lite"model. In terms of screen size, the compact version could feature a 720 x 1280 resolution display, a less powerful processor and 2GB of RAM. It is generally considered that Huawei will opt for a 13-megapixel camera sensor to power up the Ascend P8 "Lite".
As usual, one should always take all rumours with a pinch of salt until there is an official announcement made from a reliable source to confirm such rumours.
Over the past 12 months or so, Huawei has grown exponentially from zero to hero. The Chinese company has a huge range of low-end Android phones that it sells in its native market. Huawei stole Samsung's low-end business, when it announced that it sold 75 million smartphones in 2014.
