Nubia Z17 mini's new RAM and storage variant is power packed: Launched in India
Nubia Z17 mini now offers 6GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage.
ZTE'S sub-brand Nubia was expected to introduce a limited edition Nubia Z17 mini in India for a long time. Previous rumors and leaks had been suggesting the same. And now after a month of reporting about Nubia's alleged Z17 mini model, the company has officially unveiled a new RAM and storage variant of the smartphone in India.
Guess the rumors were true as the company has unveiled Nubia Z17 mini with 6GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage. The smartphone further comes in new Aurora Blue color as well. While the rest of the specifications will be remaining the same as the standard 4GB variant, the limited edition will retail at Rs. 21,499 and will be available exclusively on Amazon.in starting Friday, September 15.
The regular 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage variant of the Nubia Z17 mini was launched back in June at Rs. 19,999 in India.
Design, Display and Performance
In any case, talking about the features and Specifications of the device, Nubia Z17 mini sorts a slim form factor with almost no bezels on the left and right sides of the display. The smartphone features a metal unibody design with a fingerprint sensor at the back along and the device as a whole measures at 7.45mm in thickness.
The handset comes with a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080x1920) display with 424ppi and Gorilla Glass on top. Nubia Z17 mini is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC.
Cameras
As for the cameras, the dual camera setup on the rear comprises of 13-megapixel Sony sensors (Monochrome + RGB) with f/2.2 aperture, NeoVision 6.0 and is protected by Sapphire Glass.
At the front, there is a 16-megapixel camera with 80-degree wide angle, 5P lens, and f/2.0 aperture. Nubia has said that the camera offers 16 different modes other than pro and normal modes. The dual rear camera combines multi-view and dynamic features to create an interactive 3D motion picture as well.
Battery, Software and Other Features
The smartphone is backed by a 2950mAh non-removable battery and it runs on Nubia UI 4.0 based on Android Marshmallow. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C port.
Sensors onboard include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. It measures 146.65x72.5x7.45mm and weighs 155 grams.
